Bill Engvall Show
9/8c TBS
It's a twin bill of Bill: Two back-to-back episodes mark the Season 3 finale of Bill Engvall's homespun sitcom. In the first outing, oldest son Trent revs up to buy a car, but Bill stalls out in his effort to steer him to the perfect vehicle. In the second episode, Bill and Susan quarrel with a new neighbor over garbage bins, resulting in quite a bit of trash talking. Elsewhere, Trent is still an uneasy rider: He fails a driving test and blames the setback on the loss of his lucky red coin.

Bill Engvall Show

For three seasons now, Bill Engvall's sitcom has been addressing the quirks of married life and family dynamics. Consider it the Engvall Angle. These are nice little perspectives on domestic tug-of-wars, such as the up-and-down battles over lowering the toilet seat. Or shaving a beard, as is the case tonight. It gets hairy in the Pearson household when Susan demands that Bill cut off his post-fishing-trip beard. Bill stands up to her and refuses, which is never a good move for a husband, no doubt. And it'll be a close shave for brainiac Bryan when he takes a cue from Trent and begins tormenting Lauren.

TBS says it's "very funny," so it's only fitting the network will look for more laughs in the 2009-10 season, in both 3-D and 2-D form and from former sitcom stars.
Already scheduled to return are Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns, which will launch its second season May 27, and The Bill Engvall Show, which will inhabit ...

Hey everybody, Well its time for another installment from the set of the Bill Engvall Show. This week is a very special week for us. Cynthia Watros makes the first of three guest star appearances on our show. Cynthia plays Susans best friend since childhood and comes to visit her and the family. She plays a character named AJ and is a bit of a thorn in Bills side. She feels that Susan has given up on the fun things in life. AJ is a world traveler and does not have roots anywhere. She takes Susan salsa dancing and this starts to bother Bill. Not because he doesnt want Susan going out with AJ, but because he realizes that maybe he and Susan are living in a bit of a rut. So Bill turns to his best friend Paul(Tim Meadows) to teach him how to salsa dance. This was one of the funniest scenes that I have been a part of. Tim Meadows is simply hysterical in this. It was really hard to keep a straight face as Tim taught me to dance. Bill Pearson ends up showing ...

Question: I read Mark's comments in the last Ask Matt about the USA Network cross-promotion of In Plain Sight on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and while it was a pretty cheesy cross-promotion, I felt it was harmless. Plus, every Dick Wolf show has done this sort of cross-promotion when getting started, so it was not unexpected that he would be a good corporate citizen and do it for another USA Network show. More of a problem is what TBS has done to take those on-screen promos we all find so annoying to the next level. I have stopped watching Family Guy on TBS because of it. While the show is running, it suddenly freezes, and Bill Engvall walks on screen holding a remote, with Family Guy "paused" in the background. He makes some sort of supposedly funny comment tying what just happened to his show ("Stewie would never do anything like that on The Bill Engvall Show"), makes a pitch for his show, and then hits the remote to restart the Family Guy episode, which goes right into a ...

Hey everyone, Hope that you are enjoying the Bill Engvall Show. Well, it's time for another installment of what's been going on at the set. This week's show deals with a common problem that most couples and parents have. The "A story" is about giving gifts to each other. I have found that the longer that you are married the harder it is to find the right gift. Now, some people are blessed with the ability to find that perfect gift. My wife has this attribute. I on the other hand for the life of me cannot find the perfect gift. I think that is because being a male, we just don't think that hard about gifts. Women remember the tiniest things that we say and in turn are able to turn that into the gift that we really want. I have also learned in my years of being married that when a woman says "I don't care what you get me." They really mean, "I do care but I am going to see what you come up with."A prime example: One year my wife said those famous words "I don't care" and I found ou...

Cynthia Watros
There was a quiet spell following her dramatic exit from Lost, but Cynthia Watros' workload has gone from 0 to 60 in recent months. Tonight at 10 pm/ET, she stars opposite Eric Roberts in the second installment of NBC's Fear Itself anthology series, and later this summer, she'll surface on TBS' The Bill Engvall Show. TVGuide.com invited Watros to preview her new gigs as well as ponder future spooky appearances by Lost's Libby.
TVGuide.com: You've been keeping busy lately!Cynthia Watros: A little bit, yeah!
TVGuide.com: On the one hand, you're serving up some horror. On the other, you're doing comedy. Do you like striking that balance?Watros: I like to juggle both ends. It's always fun to make people laugh, and then make them afraid or cry at the same time.
TVGuide.com: In Fear Itself's "Spooked," you play a woman who hires Eric Roberts' P.I
