Premise: A six-hour dramatization of the rise of the Roman emperor Augustus following the assassination of his uncle Julius Caesar. At the would-be emperor's side: the fictional gladiator Tyrannus. Filmed in Rome and other Italian locations. Executive producers include Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (`Chicago').
