CBS topped Tuesday with another big NCIS showing, while NBC's sitcoms slid to new lows.
NCIS returned to 21.8 million viewers and a 3.7 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, down two-tenths from its last new episode. NCIS: Los Angeles (17.2 million, 3.1) and Vegas (11.1 million, 1.9) were both up.

Private Practice closed out its six-year run with its highest numbers since October.
The series finale drew 5.2 million viewers and a 1.5 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, up 25 percent from last week. Lead-in The Taste averaged 6 million viewers and a 2.2 for its series premiere, helping ABC to a win. The Taste was the night's top-rated program and was a tenth higher than Dancing with the Stars' premiere in the slot last season.
