Premise: The `ragin Cajun' chef took a whirlwind eight-city tour in 2002 (it debuted over one week), sampling everything from catfish in Nashville to cosmopolitans in New York City. `It really represents what American cooking is,' Lagasse said. Other cities visited include San Francisco, Boston, Houston, Seattle, Detroit and Lagasse's adopted home town, New Orleans.
