Apparently, Ellen DeGeneres wasn't the only one who received vitriolic backlash after she came out.

Mad Men, The Good Wife
In the pursuit of TV love, our favorite characters employed some really weird tactics this week. On Boardwalk Empire, Margaret got Nucky's attention by dropping a dime on him. Crosby proposed with a plastic novelty ring while wearing a tacky jumpsuit on Parenthood. House's cranky doc even agreed to — gasp! — babysit. Don Draper's impromptu proposal on Mad Men's finale caught us off guard. But it's Kalinda and Blake's destructive flirtation on The Good Wife that perhaps most eloquently underscored that love may be a many-splendored thing, but there's nothing hotter than taking a baseball bat to your intended's automobile. Oh sure, now that Ellen is a married woman she's pulling out all the stops to get her attention.

The daytime talk divas are really going all out this week, eh? On yesterday's Ellen, which was filmed in Chicago, former Idol contestants Michael Johns and Carly Smithson gave an exclusive performance, singing a duet version of the U2 classic "One." This was much more fun than the 'repeat performances' we get during their press tour, and it's safe to say Michael Johns, in particular, would have made Bono proud with this one. Gina DiNunno

He has yet to stop talking about his oh-so-smooth Ciroc vodka, but Ellen really had Sean "Diddy" Combs put his money where his mouth is when she surprised the mogul with a blind taste test of four different vodkas. Together they plowed through four shooters (though Ellen's were a bit suspect), but Diddy really began to break a sweat when it came down to determining which vodka was his. Think he pulled it off?

While every person in the world with access to a camera has been adding their two cents on the bareback Miley incident, leave it to Ellen to address the controversial matter in the way she does bestwith a joke! After learning about the untimely death of Heath Ledger just hours before taping of her Wednesday show, Ellen DeGeneres decided to pay tribute to the Oscar nominee in the last few minutes of the episode. After a few touching words about Ledger, she proceeded to show Ledgers humorous side with a clip from when the actor visited her show in 2006. Rather than a typical Q & A, they did a skit where Ellen and Ledger showed their amazing bob-sledding skills (in front of a green screen that is!). Watch it now! | More online videos
