Duck Factory

1984, TV Show

An eager young cartoon buff lands a job at a struggling animation studio in a curio that is more notable as a vehicle for a little-known Jim Carrey---in the straight-man role---than for its quirky premise. The interesting cast also includes Don Messick (the voice of Scooby Doo and Papa Smurf, among others) and writer-producer Jay Tarses (`Buffalo Bill,' `The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd'), who confines himself to simply acting the role of the resident gag writer.
