A history of drinking in Los Angeles is explored by the guys, who tour the San Antonio Winery, which has been in operation since 1917. Later, they meet a third-generation brewer; visit a Prohibition-era bar; and finish the night at a speakeasy.
The guys travel to Anchorage, where they are put to work at Celestial Meads. Later, they play beer-can baseball at Midnight Sun Brewing Co., and experience what the bar Chilkoot Charlie's has to offer. Finally, they harvest glacier ice with the folks at Truuli vodka.
Highlights of a trip to Indianapolis include the discovery of a unique way to make spirits at a local distillery, followed by a visit to the Ball & Biscuit cocktail lounge. Also: shrimp at St. Elmo Steak House; popcorn beer; and the Indy 500 track.
