Nickelodeon has just announced that two of their most popular stars Drake Bell and Josh Peck, will be reuniting for a new, two-hour original TV movie Drake & Josh: Best Christmas Ever. Jeers to Nickelodeon for promoting Superhero Movie during tween-friendly shows like iCarly. Sure, it stars Drake Bell from the network’s Drake & Josh, but the PG-13 flick also features — to quote the MPAA advisory — “crude and sexual content, comic violence, drug references and language.” (Not to mention Leslie Nielsen having sex with a corpse.) Friday night's premiere of Drake & Josh: Really Big Shrimp delivered 5.8 million total viewers, making it the most-watched TV-movie in Nickelodeon history. It also marked the cabler's best performance with tweens age 9 to 14, bringing in 2.3 million of 'em. Nick's previous record holder was 2006's Drake & Josh Go Hollywood, which Really Big Shrimp bested by six percent in total viewers.
