Premise: The lives of identical twin sisters with radically different personalities play out in a sitcom that bore more than a slight resemblance to the earlier (and more successful) `Patty Duke Show' of the 1960s. As this series began, impulsive Kate and serious Allison Foster were Des Moines, Iowa, high-schoolers living with their widowed father. They later moved to New York City to live with their aunt and pursue careers. The twin leads are the younger sisters of Katey Sagal.
