In the final part of "The Detectives," Teret undergoes an eight-week trial. After almost two years of painstaking work to build a case against Teret, it's up to a jury to decide if he's guilty.
Ray Teret's investigation continues and centers around a dramatic three-day interrogation that ends with the Crown Prosecution Service deciding if he'll be charged or go free. It's the culmination of more than a year's work for Detectives Rod and Carol - and the moment when they finally reveal to Teret how many victims they've found and how much evidence that they have against him.
The investigation into Ray Teret begins as Detectives Rod and Carol search for corroborating evidence to back up the testimony of the first five women to come forward with allegations. This is no easy task, for there's no crime scene, no CCTV and no DNA evidence to help them. With Teret denying all charges, their challenge is to uncover anything that supports the victims' stories.
