An anthology produced by the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz studio that was CBS's successor to `Studio One,' but, for all its ambitions, lasted just two seasons. The two series were sponsored by Westinghouse, and both featured Betty Furness opening refrigerator doors during commercials. The fare varied widely (`Lucy Goes to Mexico' and `The Song of Bernadette' were its first two offerings), and both `The Untouchables' and `The Twilight Zone' grew out of `Desilu Playhouse' presentations.
