Delta

A would-be country singer named Delta Bishop leaves her husband for Nashville and takes a job waiting tables in the same bar where Patsy Cline used to sing. Delta's no Patsy, and, for Burke, `Delta' was not a successful follow-up to `Designing Women': it was put on hiatus after 11 episodes in the fall of '92, and canceled for good after returning briefly in the spring of '93.
