Dancing with the Stars Episode Recap: Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 Season 15, Episode 4

Dancing with the Stars cuts its second All-Star. Did Bristol overcome her low score or did we lose a former top contender?

We know Bristol's not leaving, right? Let's come to terms with this now. I know this is All-Stars, but if she made it to third place on Season 11 scraping the bottom of the leader board, she's not going this soon yet.

Sabrina and Louis (surprise, surprise) get the encore and are the first to be declared safe. No fake-out this time.

First three safe couples:
Sabrina and Louis.
Emmitt and Cheryl
Drew and Anna

Joey and Kym are in jeopardy. So the boy band fates are reversed this week. Does Drew have a voodoo doll of Joey? Hmm.

Tom chooses to drop the bomb that next week will be a double elimination. Judging by the looks of nausea, nobody knew this was coming. That's way harsh, Tai. But if you did the math (aka counting) between now and Nov. 19, the final performance night, you knew there had to be a double axing somewhere in there. As if that's not bad enough for the couples, they're immediately subjected to Brooke's humorless questions. Good to know no one has taught her to read a room over the summer.

After performances by Cher Lloyd and the Macy's Stars of Dance, Lacey, Benji and the troupe recreate some memorable dances in honor of next week's theme. And obviously they use "memorable" loosely. I don't remember any of these outside of Helio's banana man routine.

Next three safe couples:
Shawn and Derek
Kirstie and Maks
Bristol and Mark

Kelly and Val are in jeopardy. I'm sorry, but these two cannot go. They are simply adorable, and that pseudo-photo booth sequence in their confessional confirmed it.

After Katherine Jenkins and Placido Domingo put us all to vocal shame, the last four pairs hit the stage — but not before we hear Gilles pronounce it "cleavelage."

Next three safe couples:
Gilles and Peta
Melissa and Tony
Apolo and Karina

Helio and Chelsie are in jeopardy. Kelly and Val are safe, which means Helio and Chelsie, and Joey and Kym are in the bottom two.

And the couple going home is... Joey and Kym.

Quick, everyone, use your "bye, bye, bye" headlines you've been saving since 2007! Honestly, this is too soon. Joey's not the best dancer but he's hilarious and just fun to watch. And he surely would've gotten better as the show went on.

"I'll miss everybody out here. I'm going to a wedding tomorrow, so I don't give a damn!" he says. "We had a great time. People said we were fun. I respect [the judges' opinions], but I don't care because I had fun."

Next week, the celebs will become creative directors and oversee all aspects of their routines except for basic choreography.

What did you think? Did Joey deserve the boot? Did he foreshadow his demise with "The End" title card yesterday? Are you excited for the stars to become creative directors next week? Should there be a double elimination so early in the season? Have you ever pronounced it "cleavelage"? Who's your current pick to win?
