Dancing with the Stars Episode Recap: Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 Season 15, Episode 2

After just one dance, it's time to bid adieu to the first All-Star. So who suffered the most brutal cut of all?

As much as I adore Tristan and his tats and accent and tufts of chest hair, Pam's gotta go, no? I am willing to sacrifice the pretty for good dancing. I think.

First three safe couples:
Shawn and Derek
Apolo and Karina
Joey and Kym

Bristol and Mark are in jeopardy. I gotta say, I'm enjoying Bristol much more this time around. Maybe it's the self-deprecation and self-awareness. Or the fact that she insists on calling out Mark's cheesiness. Yeah, it's probably that.

After Pitbull brings us glow sticks and a fumigating robot, Brooke, who's missing the bottom half of her dress, chats up the three 21.5-scorers. And all I can think about was that genius clip in the first hour with Helio and Chelsie. You know, when he patiently attempted to enlighten Chelsie as to why Portuguese is spoken in Brazil only to get this gem: "Wait, South America speaks Spanish?!" #blondemoment

Next two safe couples:
Helio and Chelsie
Kelly and Val

Drew and Anna are in jeopardy. Who didn't see this coming after his 30,239 comments about how no one is safe this season and a former champ could leave first? Sounds like someone's trying to tell himself that to soften the blow if he leaves early...

Next three safe couples:
Gilles and Peta
Emmitt and Cheryl
Sabrina and Louis

This, only after an unnecessary, lame fake-out with Sabrina and Louis. You could've said, "Both couples are safe" instead of misleading everyone with "all," Tom. Not your most Emmy-worthy moment.

Next two safe couples:
Kirstie and Maks
Melissa and Tony

Pam and Tristan are in jeopardy. Duh. She knows it. We all know it.

Next safe couple:
Bristol and Mark

Drew and Anna and Pam and Tristan are in the bottom two.

And the couple leaving is... Pam and Tristan.

"I was ready for it," she says. "We got the lowest score ... but we're gonna dance together again."

Good job, America. Now the real All-Stars competition can begin! But don't go too far, Tristan.

What did you think? Did the right All-Star go home? How can we ensure we see Tristan every episode for the next 10 weeks? What was up with Tom's fake-out? Are you enjoying Bristol more this season too? How adorable was Kelly and Val's pat-a-cake session? What language does Chelsie think South Americans speak? Who's your current pick to win?
