Dancing with the Stars' 12 couples are back with their Week 2 routines. Did Zendaya maintain her spot on top of the leader board? Did D.L. make a comeback? Find out below!

Breaking news, everyone! Brooke looks great tonight! I know nothing anymore. Anyhow, we've got three styles tonight, including the brand spankin' new jazz. Let's watch this to get ready, OK?

Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson: quickstep
After last week, Kym promises that Ingo will dance his butt off and tells him to dance like he has a penny up his butt. We've all been there, right?! Well, Ingo is dancing, but it's not that pretty. He's not sturdy enough and his footwork spotty. He's one of those people who seems like they should do well, but it's not coming together here. Len says he's much improved. Bruno cautions him about toe and heel leads, but gives him a "way to go." Carrie Ann says his frame was problematic.
Score: 20
Total: 40

Dorothy Hamill and Tristan MacManus: jive
Dorothy is terrified of the jive. Worse: She has a cyst by a nerve near a bone in her back and can't properly rehearse. I'm guessing she's not in pain and/or got a bazillion shots of cortisone before show time because she's moving well. Dancing? Not so much. There's no bounce or flicks and kicks, and she flubs a move coming through Tristan's legs at the end. It's a little hard to watch, but the silver lining? That dress is adorable! Bruno is confused as to whether Tristan is Elvis or Liberace and calls Dorothy brave. Carrie Ann sensed fear in her. Len says it didn't deliver and gives Splash some free promotion. Dorothy hushes the audience's boos and agrees that she sucked (my words, not hers), but says she's not in pain and feels bad for letting Tristan down. Don't cry, Dorothy!
Score: 15
Total: 36

Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff: jazz
Karina brings in a bunch of little girls to help Jacoby learn the jazz. "They gave me some good pointers and I'm going to take it to heart," he says. This is a lot more polished than last week. Jacoby's posture is better and he's hitting his lines and footwork well. It's a fun, snappy number that suits all of his strengths: showmanship, flair and, uh, strength. Carrie Ann calls it rockin'. Len enjoyed it and wants him to bring that same attitude to the ballroom styles. Bruno likes him to a headliner at the Cotton Club.
Score: 23
Total: 43

Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold: jive
Victor's confused with the coordination and almost walks out during rehearsals. No "I quit," sadly. Just as well. Victor is like half of Jacoby. He has the charisma down pat, but the technique is way off. He's totally into the routine, but it's sloppy and all over the place. In other news: Victor looks awesome in red. Len says he didn't knock his socks off. Bruno tells Victor not to go through the beat and picks apart every single part of his body. Carrie Ann bangs her head against the table. Let's leave it at that.
Score: 18
Total: 36

Wynonna Judd and Tony Dovolani: quickstep
Wynonna's motivation for this week: Not to pee her pants. Does that mean she did last week? They're dressed as cops, but someone should arrest them for this quickstep because it's criminal! Thanks. I'm here all week. This is seriously one of the slowest quicksteps I've ever seen on this show. Tony's back to his considerate "dance to my partner's snail pace" again. He does throw in some excitement by feigning motorboating. The good news for Wynonna: She's technically solid, but there's no punch in any of her movement. Bruno says her "assets need security at all times" and wants her energy to keep up through the dance. Carrie Ann loves her frame and thinks there's a "wild woman" in there. Len says she never got out of first gear. Wynonna tells Brooke that she needs her handcuffs for Len. Sorry for the image.
Score: 18
Total: 36

Zendaya and Val Chmerkovskiy: jive
"Stay away from the pole," Val tells Zendaya on the ballet bar. "What every good father should say to his daughter." Zing! Zendaya is almost half-a-head taller than Val in heels. So Zendaya being the favorite? She still is, even more so after this. It's insanely precise and fast. Still, I can't help but feel a little cold from her. She's not one of those robotic technicians, but she doesn't have the magnetism of, say, Jacoby. Ann says she's the whole shebang. Len calls it fantastic. "A star is born, big time," Bruno declares. And we get our first 9s of the season already.
Score: 26
Total: 50

Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess: jazz
Andy says this is the first time he's experienced an exorbitant amount of stress and did not drink. Mazel tov! They're doing an Alice in Wonderland/Red Queen theme, which has never been more apt. Andy is so going to be the Kelly Osbourne this season — the person you expected to be a trainwreck but is instead a revelation. This is far from a technical achievement — he's above average — but the whole thing is so manic, lively and energetic that you best be tweeting for it to be the encore tomorrow. Len likes his commitment. Bruno calls it a monster jazz. Carrie Ann puts her dress' halter strap on her head. Yeah.
Score: 20
Total: 37

Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd: jive
Sean didn't shower for two days this week. Run, Catherine, run! Dealbreaker! Luckily, they're doing a lifeguard theme... but there's no water. Sean is a bit looser from last week, but everything's kind of blah and he falls behind the beat for a bit. There is also way too much twirling and not enough flicks and kicks. Bruno wants Sean to save him, but says it was more of a lindy hop. Carrie Ann says he falls out of the music. Len doesn't get it and thinks they got too caught up with the theme.
Score: 20
Total: 39

Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas: quickstep
Mark is trying to teach Aly to emote. A lose-lose for us all. Unfortunately, no one came to Aly's rescue and she follows the Mug Master's cue. Ugh. Just no close-ups, please. Weird faces notwithstanding, it's great. Aly's posture is on-point, and her footwork is light, quick and tight. "Another successful graduate of the Mark Ballas School of Face-Making," Tom quips. Carrie Ann calls it the best quickstep of the night. Len calls it terrific. Bruno says she was a "magic bluebird in full flight."
Score: 24
Total: 45

Lisa Vanderpump and Gleb Savchenko: jive
Gleb goes into "Russian dictator" mode this week. "I'm pushing Lisa to the limit because I'm more confident in her than she is in herself," he says. They do a flight attendant theme and it's not worthy of a Mile-High Club invite. Lisa has potential, but she's so unbelievably self-conscious. She doesn't mess up any steps, but she's way too hesitant, jerky, and her arm flails are the saddest things ever. Either do it or don't. Don't half-ass it. Len says she never took off. Bruno says it's understandable because she's not used to commercial flight. Carrie Ann tells her to let loose more.
Score: 18
Total: 36

D.L. Hughley and Cheryl Burke: quickstep
D.L. says this went from "a fun thing to Hunger Games in tights." You shouldn't have volunteered as tribute, dude. D.L. throws a hissy fit in rehearsal and we have our first walkout — Cheryl! They talk it out the next day and D.L. admits he's gun-shy after getting those 4s. He gets a standing O before he even does anything. This is hardly perfection, but light years better than last week's atrocity. He's keeping in step and his frame is slightly better. Bruno says he can tell he put a lot of hard work into it. Carrie Ann says he's on the right track. Len gives him a "well done." "We were doing our Whitney and Bobby imitation for a while," D.L. cracks backstage of their fight. No pun intended.
Score: 16
Total: 28

Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough: jazz
Derek wants to incorporate some of Kellie's cheerleading moves from her past into the routine. Kellie wants to do jazz hands. I'm with you, girl. And Derek gives us our first shirtless count of the season. He's been touting this number in his TVGuide.com blog and it does deliver. The light saber thing is kind of distracting, but Kellie's such a natural dancer that she looks like a pro. She's so limber and fluid, and her extensions are gorgeous. Carrie Ann calls it "freakin' amazing." "Last week was spark, this week was a fire," Len says. Bruno calls it a great achievement. And we get two more 9 paddles.
Score: 26
Total: 47

So Zendaya and Val, and Kellie and Derek tie for the night, but the leader board doesn't change overall: Zendaya and Val are on top with 50, and D.L. and Cheryl are last with 28.

What do you think? Do Zendaya and Kellie deserve 9s already? Did D.L. redeem himself? Does Sean's hygiene care (or lack thereof) concern you? Would you be caught dead at the Mark Ballas School of Face-Making? Are you disappointed there were no jazz hands? Who do you think will get the first boot?
