Lifetime has renewed its documentary series Dance Moms for a third season, the network announced Wednesday. The show will return next year with 26 new episodes.

Lifetime has picked up the new reality series Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition, starring Dance Moms instructor Abby Lee Miller, TV Guide Magazine has learned.  Miller will serve as lead judge, with Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin and celebrity choreographer Richard Jackson (Lady Gaga's "Marry the Night") joining her at the judges' table.
