Ratings: Big Bang Theory Explodes to Series High

The Big Bang Theory was Monday's top-rated show, posting the biggest number of overall viewers in the series' history.

Big Bang was watched by 14.7 million viewers, and dominated the competition in the adults-18-to-49 demographic. The show got a boost from a strong lead-in from Two and Half Men (15.2 million viewers), the night's most-watched show.

CBS' comedies benefited from holiday programming on other networks, as How I Met Your Mother (9.1 million viewers) and Accidentally on Purpose (8.3 million viewers) defeated ABC's Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town (8.4 million viewers) and Fox's Carrie Underwood Christmas special (8.1 million viewers over two hours)...read more

Top Moments: House's Living Autopsy, Mad Men's Shocking Discovery and More!

There were a lot of dirty tricks on TV this week. Jo Reynolds (Daphne Zuniga) cajoled poor Riley into posing topless on Melrose Place. House and Foreman conducted an autopsy on a living person. Gossip Girl's Chuck kissed a guy because of Blair's deception. CSI: Miami's Eric Delko tricked us all by slinking off into the night with barely any explanation. Welcome to this week's Top Moments: Dirty Tricks Edition.

Castle
10:02/9:02c ABC
She's a hard-nosed detective. He's a charmingly irreverent crime novelist. Surely this partnership can't last for long. Or can it? After all, the show is premised on their unlikely pairing. Things could change tonight, however, when Debi Mazar dances her way onto set to play Castle's agent and she brings with her an offer that may be too good for him to pass up. The catch? It could mean the end to Castle's days of derring-do as Beckett's partner, and that would certainly be a crime.
