Profiling textile artists Terese Agnew, Randall Darwall, Faith Ringgold and Consuelo Jimenez Underwood. Agnew creates quilts that explore environmental and political themes; colorist-weaver Darwall makes cloth that becomes a kinetic sculpture when worn; Ringgold creates painted story quilts; and Underwood uses weaving, sewing, painting and appliqué to create woven "corridos" focused on political and physical strife.
