Artisan families are profiled. Included: wood-turning artist Ed Moulthrop (1916-2003)—who once taught former president Jimmy Carter—and his sons Philip and Matt, who followed in his footsteps; glass artist Paul Marioni, his son and fellow glass artist Dante and daughter Marina, who makes jewelry; ceramicist Cliff Lee and his daughter Holly, a metal artist; and cowboy boot-maker Lisa Sorrell, whose daughters plan to continue the family tradition.
