How will Jim and Pam handle the new baby on The Office? — Marisa
NATALIE:
With Pam's hormones in overdrive, she won't know who to trust, causing her to seek out an unlikely ally. "She's clearly in a position where everyone is lying to her to make her feel better, except for Dwight, and she starts to think he's the only person she can trust," executive producer Paul Lieberstein says. After she gives birth, though, it'll be Jim who has problems. "Usually, he wants to get out of work, but it might be a little easier for him at work than at home."

A Community Love Fest Hits Comic-Con

Danny Pudi and Gillian Jacobs

"Can I get a 'pop pop'?" TV Guide Magazine's L.A. Bureau Chief Michael Schneider, who moderated the Community panel, asked a crowd of 2,000 fans before the cast hit the stage at Comic-Con. The audience channeled their inner Magnitude and obliged enthusiastically, setting the tone of fan love for the rest of the hour-long session. The entire cast — minus Alison Brie, who was unavailable due to a filming conflict — ran on stage to deafening cheers, with the loudest being reserved for Donald Glover and Joel McHale. But the surprise cast member of the hour was Annie's Boobs, Greendale's resident monkey, who delivered the Community Season 2 DVD to creator Dan Harmon. "I don't know what she's doing, but I think she's pooping," said Harmon after the skit.... read more

Community Season 3 Spoilers: Annie's Rival, Jeff's Father and Chang's... Rise to Power?

Community

Community creator Dan Harmon will once again join his cast for a panel at Comic-Con on Saturday, but we just couldn't wait that long. So, we phoned Harmon to see what he's got up his sleeve for Season 3, and boy, did he spill the goods. Britta's choosing a major! Shirley will redefine herself. And despite the cliff-hanger of Season 2, it sounds like our study group may grow closer than ever this season (or at least certain members of it will). Plus: Harmon teases the group's new biology teacher and an "epic" hero's journey for Troy... read more

Ask Matt: Emmy Reactions, Plus True Blood, Glee, and More!

Kathy Bates

Send questions to askmatt@tvguidemagazine.com and follow me on Twitter!

Question: I thought the Emmy nominations were spot on except in the following areas. I love Kathy Bates, but can't stand her in Harry's Law, a show I find to be lazy. Tina Fey and NBC should in no way be proud of 30 Rock's nominations, a show that has been running on fumes since the end of season 3. I don't understand the love for this show anymore. When this show first came out it was a breath of fresh air in the comedy genre. Now it reeks of stale, recycled storylines. It all revolves around Tracy Morgan's character and his stupid antics and Tina Fey's character constantly playing babysitter. For a show that's paced in real time, it amazes me how the only character to have evolved on this series is Baldwin's Jack. I'm also delighted that Cougar Town was allegedly snubbed; I find it to be a dreadful series. Ecstatic about Parks and Recreation, a show that truly deserves to be nominated. Now that I've ranted, I think I'll go to bed. Love reading your column. — MW

Emmy Nominee Ty Burrell: Community Deserved to Be Nominated

Ty Burrell

The Modern Family team may be on cloud nine right now after scoring 17 Emmy nominations, but Ty Burrell can only think of those who didn't make the cut.

"I definitely feel like Community is really strong and falls into that category of shows that deserved to be nominated," he tells TVGuide.com. "It's a great show and should be up there with us. I was really happy to see Parks and Recreation nominated. Several of the actors on that deserved to be nominated. It's true of most shows. I feel like they should ...
