Premise: In the conclusion, the Red Sea parts for Moses (Dougray Scott) and his followers, but not for their Egyptian pursuers, who include Moses' stepbrother Menerith (Naveen Andrews). So the Israelites are free from bondage---but stranded in the desert with only God on their side. “We'll be a special nation,” Moses tells them, “if we obey [God's] law.” Easier said than done. Aaron: Linus Roache. Zipporah: Mia Maestro. Jethro: Omar Sharif. Miriam: Susan Lynch.
