Premise: It may be a bit like throwing gasoline on a fire, but the Black Knights actually have even more incentive to beat Navy this year. The Cadets have won five games for the first time since 1996, and a sixth victory over the Midshipmen would earn Army a bowl berth. Navy may not go for that plan. The Middies have won seven meetings in a row, and would probably prefer to head to their postseason bowl matchup fresh off a win over their longtime service academy rivals.
