Premise: Anderson Cooper hosts this second annual salute to everyday people for their extraordinary work for their communities and the world. Ten finalists (from some 4,000 nominees) are honored, with one getting $100,000. Alicia Keys and John Legend perform. Other celebs expected to appear include Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Cameron Diaz, Salma Hayek, Terrence Howard, Hugh Jackman, Lucy Liu, Meg Ryan and Forest Whitaker. From the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
