Our top moments of the week:

The clip shows the two on the road, playing with guns, driving off cliffs and bumping into the likes of Glee's Chord Overstreet ("Who do you think you are, Brad Pitt?" Shania asks dryly) and Kid Rock. The most bizarre cameo is by...

Billy Ray Cyrus, cohost of the CMT Music Awards
If November's CMAs are the Oscars of country music, then the free and easy CMT Music Awards (tonight at 8 pm/ET) — honoring country music videos — are the Golden Globes. Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Sugarland and LeAnn Rimes perform at the Nashville event, along with hosts Miley Cyrus and her father Billy Ray, who phoned us from his home in Tennessee to discuss what's shaping up to be an awfully busy year for the Hannah Montana patriarch.

It's not just about the music at this year's CMT Music Awards. Fans who sign up with the organization's CMT One Country program, which matches people with volunteer opportunities in their communities, will be entered to win a pair of tickets to the CMT Awards' sizzling red carpet. This year's event is likely to be one of the hottest ever, if the hosts are any indication: Father-daughter team Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus will be hosting, adding an extra superstar veneer to the already glossy proceedings. Artists set to perform include Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood and Toby Keith, just to name a few. The show will air April 14 at 8 pm/ET, giving you just under four weeks to decide just what type of volunteering you're going to do. Are you going to sign up? Does the chance of meeting Miley make it more appealing? Anna Dimond

"Miley and I are so excited," Dad says in a statement. "We know it will be a fun-filled night with a lot of great music performances."Indeed, the seventh-annual kudosfest will feature performers such as Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Carrie (of course) Underwood, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Toby Keith. Other acts will be announced in the coming weeks. (For example, Hannah Montana, I hear, is holding out for a pretty strict dressing-room rider calling for 18 different flavors of lip gloss and a gross of Pixie Stix.)
