Climax!

CBS's golden-age anthology series began its four-year run with `The Long Goodbye,' an adaptation of the Raymond Chandler whodunit with Dick Powell as PI Philip Marlowe (a role he had played in 1940s movies). A bit of 007 trivia: the first screen appearance of Ian Fleming's James Bond was in a 1954 `Climax' version of `Casino Royale' that starred Barry Nelson.
