    Question: I appreciate the fact that you addressed the reader's question about the lack of minority sitcoms. No, The Cleveland Show does not count. It's a cartoon voiced by a white man, written by a white man. Don't get me wrong — Seth MacFarlane and his writing staff are top-notch. But come on, a cartoon character is the best the networks can do? Also, you were dead on about Sex and the City. I hated it. (And I am female and loved the show.) Carrie acted like an idiot. Her man told her several times that he was not happy with all the wedding plans (in that non-direct way some men have) and she just didn't listen. You'd think after dating a man for years that Carrie would be able to read him better. I was so disgusted. The most real stories for me were those of Samantha and Miranda. I am so tired of watching new shows with increasingly younger and white casts. Every black woman is not the "sassy best friend" of some white woman.
