William deVry and Eden Riegel, All My Children
Yes, you read that right. Next month William deVry recurs on All My Children as Michael Cambias, the billionaire bad guy who sired Bianca's baby, Miranda, on the night he brutally raped her. But since the late, hated Mr. Cambias was found frozen on a meat hook in 2003, he won't be back in the flesh. Instead, Michael will guest-star in the nightmares of his brother Zach (Thorsten Kaye) on Jan. 27 and 31. Fitting, huh?
Although
Eden Riegel will also be seen in Pine Valley next month, she and deVry won't cross paths on screen. As previously reported, Riegel's
holiday visit begins airing today and concludes Jan. 10. Hence, an
AMC rep reassures TVGuide.com: "Michael Cambias does not interact with Bianca at any point."
Phew! Just double-checking.

All My Children's Bobby Steggert last airs as Sam Grey on Dec. 20. Good riddance! Nothing against the diminutive actor, but Sam's brattishness has truly been working on viewers' nerves. Did you see how he smooched Lily (Leven Ramblin) with beer breath this week, then called her "stupid" for having a forgiving nature? And don't even get us started on all that disrespectful back talk to his mom, Maria (Eva LaRue). Instead of going to live with his family in sunny California, Sam oughta be shipped off to charm school to have some manners slapped into him.

Las Vegas did the time warp and treated us all to a retropisode. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give the effort an Ocean's 8. The vibe was chill, the music was cool and our posse looked gooood. The show did a credible job of re-creating early '60s Vegas — gangsters, gambling, racial tensions and all.
The names were all pretty much the same, except that the Montecito wasn't the Montecito, it was the Jubilee. Frank Sinatra was the main draw. And Mike had hair. The hair cracked me up. I think Robert Townsend wore somethin' like it back when he was in The Five Heartbeats. Nothing much really changed. Although this Ed Deline didn't have to hold back like he has to in the present day. Usually he has to turn the criminal element over to the police, but not in this alternate universe: He can actually go medieval on someone's sorry butt and then drop him off in front of his peeps just to se

Scoop! Lamman Rucker didn't stay unemployed for long after All My Children exposed Garret as "The Dragon" and killed him off. Starting Nov. 21, he'll appear in several episodes of the UPN sitcom Half & Half as Mona's (Rachel True) newest studmuffin, Chase. "I was killed on AMC on a Monday and booked [this show] on that Friday," Rucker tells TVGuide.com. "It's great! I'm really blessed that it was timed that way." Does the Half cast realize they have a genuine soap star in their midst? "Telma Hopkins definitely has [seen] my work in daytime," he smiles. "She even remembered my stint on As the World Turns. She's very supportive. There are quite a lot of soap fans in Hollywood!"

Soap fans know Finola Hughes from the ABC sudsers General Hospital and All My Children. She played twin sisters Anna and Alex Devane. Now, the daytime dish is a fashion policewoman as host of Style's How Do I Look? (Fridays at 9 pm/ET). That means her soap career's over, at least for now.
"I discovered something about a murder that involved the man I was sleeping with," she says with a laugh of her recent AMC exit. "So I left town."
According to Hughes, Look is an ambush makeover show for folks who've "neglected themselves and have got themselves into a stylish rut." Without naming names, could any colleagues on AMC use her help?
"Yes, I do think that there might be some people on soaps that could benefit from my show," she admits. "If you've actually done the '80s once, you really can't keep wearing the
