TVGuide.com is sad to report that suds stars Michael E. Knight (Tad, All My Children) and Catherine Hickland (Lindsay, One Life to Live) are ending their marriage of 13 years. "After long and careful consideration we have decided to separate," the couple said in a statement. "Though it is never easy, our decision was made with a great deal of love and mutual respect. We have always been great friends and will continue to be so."

Scoop! Eden Riegel (Bianca) isn't the only All My Children star who thinks playing gay is A-OK. TVGuide.com has learned that Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee) will guest-star in an upcoming episode of CBS' Out of Practice as Carla, a lovely lesbian who gets fixed up with Regina (Paula Marshall). Although no air date has yet been scheduled, Budig's installment — entitled "Doctors Without Bidders" — will air sometime after Out of Practice comes back with fresh episodes in March.

Here's the bad news: As his contract negotiations drag on, Kristoff St. John's status at The Young and the Restless remains in question. That's just wrong. The better news: St. John has been nominated for yet another NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series, alongside Y&R's Bryton McClure (Devon) and Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm); All My Children's Michael B. Jordan (Reggie); and The Bold and the Beautiful's Antonio Sabato Jr. (Dante). Prudence Zdravkovic, the runner-up in SoapNet's reality casting call, I Wanna Be a Soap Star 2, has scored a small role on Guiding Light. Look for her to appear on Jan. 30 and 31 as shady lady Hannah Salen.
"Hannah owns a boutique called Bella and she's a very chic dresser," Pru tells TVGuide.com. "Lizzie Spaulding lies to her boyfriend, Coop, that she works for me. But Lizzie has really been getting money from her rich admirer, Quinn. I just cover for her because Quinn bribed me! So I'm not the most honest woman in Springfield."
