Premise: Chicagoans Charlie and Diana Richmond are a highway worker and a teacher raising their three kids in this sitcom, CBS's dimly remembered attempt to clone the hugely popular `Cosby Show.' In a few years, Jaleel White (who played 9-year-old Robert) joined another Chicago-based sitcom and became an iconic star in the process: he played nerdy Steve Urkel on the long-running `Family Matters.'
