Ratings: Blacklist Rises for Fall Finale

The Blacklist closed out its fall season on a high note.

Pending football adjustments, the NBC drama drew 12.3 million viewers and a 3.5 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic Monday to post its best numbers since its premiere. Lead-in The Voice (12.4 million, 3.5) was up a tenth from last week.

Glee's Christmas episode led Fox to a decisive victory Tuesday night, while even reruns of the reliable NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles on CBS pulled in big audiences.

At 8, the fall finale of Glee posted a 4.4 rating in the adults 18-49 demo and 11 million total viewers. NCIS scored a 2.0 rating with 11.8 million, and ABC's A Charlie Brown Christmas posted a 2.6 — down 30 percent from last year's airing -- with 8 million. The Good Wife headed into its winter hiatus on the strength of its largest audience to date, helping CBS land yet another Tuesday night ratings win.

The freshman legal drama pulled in 14.1 million viewers, handily defeating The Jay Leno Show (5.2 million viewers) and a repeat of The Forgotten (3.3 million viewers), capping off a characteristically strong Tuesday showing for CBS. New holiday episodes of NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles were watched by 20.5 million viewers and 17.4 million viewers, respectively.
