Premise: A highbrow dramatic anthology that included works by Maxwell Anderson, Robert E. Sherwood, S.N. Behrman and Eugene O'Neill (whose `Ah, Wilderness,' with Thomas Mitchell and Roddy McDowall, was the series premiere). Other actors appearing in the live dramas included Burgess Meredith, Lillian Gish, Veronica Lake, David Niven, Mickey Rooney, Jack Klugman and Richard Kiley.
