Ben Bailey is hopping out of the Cash Cab and into the American workforce for a brand new series of Discovery specials.
Best in the Business (premiering Wednesday, November 23 at 10pm/ET) features Bailey hosting a series of competitions between everyday workers to see who reigns supreme in their chosen craft. Contests include a race between oyster shuckers and a duel pitting blacksmiths against each other to create a usable corkscrew in the fastest time.
The car used on the Canadian version of Cash Cab struck and killed a pedestrian, The Associated Press reports.
Andrew Burnstein, the president of the company that produces the game show, said the accident occurred on Friday when a producer was driving the car back to a garage after the day's filming. Vancouver Police said that a 61-year-old man died in the hospital shortly after being hit. His identity has not been released.
