Premise: Fireworks over Washington, D.C., cap this 2005 holiday concert marking the country's 229th birthday. Featured are Gloria Estefan, the Beach Boys, the O'Jays, Jimmy Smits, Il Divo, Sharon Lawrence, Kimberley Locke("American Idol") and Irish tenor Ronan Tynan. Barry Bostwick hosts the gala, which also includes a medley from the "Star Wars" movies, performed by the National Symphony Orchestra with Erich Kunzel conducting.
