The Top 6 are given the task of building living room furniture using completely unconventional materials, with the judges' favorite winning a $2500 prize. Later, the contestants demonstrate their electrical and design skills on a wall, which they must also wallpaper.
The 16 finalists are split into four teams and given the task of building a unique patio space. After two contestants are sent packing, those who remain are divided into pairs and asked to construct a functional bridge.
Jenn and the judges travel to Halifax, N.S., where they choose the Top 10 plywood projects and then issue a challenge involving PVC pipe. Finally, the four Eastern Canada finalists are determined after they are given two hours to build functioning bridges out of logs.
