Daddy and Grandpa teach Caillou how to catch falling leaves before they hit the ground. Later, Caillou has trouble learning how to tie his shoes. Also today, Daddy teaches Caillou how to swim. Gradually, Caillou gets better and better, and soon he can swim on his own.
Grandpa surprises Caillou with a remote control sailboat! Caillou then visits an airport and attends his first wedding ceremony as a ring bearer.
Caillou and his playschool friends go on a field trip to an apple orchard.
Julie babysits for Caillou for the first time. Caillou likes Julie because she knows lots of fun games. Later, Caillou spends the day picking strawberries with Clementine s family. Caillou also goes to day care for the first time. Day care seems scary until Caillou meets his teacher, Miss Martin, and makes two new friends. At the end of the day, Caillou doesn't want to go home!
When a trip to the zoo isn't possible, Caillou, Leo, and Clementine pretend to be animals themselves. Caillou's babysitter Julie takes Caillou and Rosie on a scavenger hunt. Afterwards, they decide to make a surprise craft for Mommy and Daddy with the cool stuff they found.
Caillou is invited to a birthday party for his friend Xavier. With a stick in hand, he discovers the surprise hidden inside the pinata. Caillou learns all about Chinese New Year with Sarah and her cousin. Later on, Caillou's friends gather to celebrate his birthday. He and Grandma throw Grandpa a belated surprise party.
When Caillou, Leo, and Sarah have nothing to play, they decide to create a brand new game using items from around the house.
Caillou borrows Sarah's kite and learns how to fly it.
