Buckwild Star Arrested in Drug Bust

Buckwild star Salwa Amin was arrested early Monday morning on felony drug charges, The Associated Press reports. Amin was charged with two counts of drug possession with intent to deliver, one for Oxycodone and one for heroin. read more

Exclusive: MTV's Buckwild Concludes Season 1 With Clip Special

MTV's Buckwild ends its initial run on Thursday, Feb. 7 with a 30-minute clip special, "Bucking Unseen Moments," at 11/10c. The special is set to air immediately following two back-to-back season finale episodes of Buckwild  starting at 10/9c.

The show, which has filled the Jersey Shore void on MTV, has performed decently for the network. According to MTV, Buckwild rates as the No. 1 original cable series on Thursday nights among viewers 12-34.

The Thursday Playlist: Person of Interest and Persons of Disinterest on MTV

In one of the better winter cliffhangers before the holiday break, CBS' Person of Interest (9/8c) left off with Reese (Jim Caviezel) in custody, having saved his partner Finch's hide but failing to escape the scene of their latest caper before he was rounded up with the episode's bad guys. The feds know they have the elusive "Man in a Suit" in their grasp, but too bad for them that everyone they nabbed is similarly attired. Which guy in the suit is their prey? Reese isn't talking — some things never change. So while Finch (Michael Emerson) takes up the slack with the "machine," pretending to be a substitute teacher to help out a teen hacker prodigy, it's up to Detective Carter (Taraji P. Henson) to try to get the quietly lethal vigilante out of their clutches. (This story continues next week, so don't expect an instant miracle.)

Senator Slams MTV Reality Show Buckwild

West Virginia Senator Jo Manchin has a bone to pick with MTV's new reality show Buckwild.

The series, which premieres next month, follows a group of twentysomethings living in a small West Virginia town and has been described as "The Jersey Shore of Appalachia." BuzzFeed obtained a letter the senator sent MTV requesting the network cancel the series. read more
