`General Hospital' creators Frank and Doris Hursley helmed this mod sudser soaked in the political unrest of the early '70s. Set in the Midwestern college town of Bancroft, it was all sex, student protests and social issues until viewer ennui compelled a shift to more mundane themes, such as romantic rivalries between two of the hamlet's main families. After cancellation, several of the key players headed to Port Charles, including Anthony Geary and frequent director Gloria Monty.
