Brideshead Revisited

Evelyn Waugh's 1945 novel about an English aristocratic family inspired this multipart drama, among the most acclaimed miniseries ever produced. The sumptuously mounted, brilliantly performed story chronicles the friendship between an artist and the disturbed son of a wealthy family. It was originally presented by PBS's `Great Performances.'
