I can't believe they killed President Heller on 24: Live Another Day! What does this mean for Jack? — Jackie
It's safe to assume that Jack's role in Heller's death will mean major drama between Jack and Heller's daughter Audrey. But even though you'd think Audrey could never forgive Jack's betrayal, there may be a glimmer of hope (especially since Audrey's husband also played along with Heller's death wish.) "Jack's question when this is all over is, 'Can he go back with Audrey? Is there a chance for the two of them?'"executive producer Evan Katz says. "In Episode 5, it was pretty clear that the two of them still love each other."

For years, Bones season finales posed a number of threats to the future of Booth and Brennan's personal relationship. However, on Monday's Season 9 finale, it was the future of the now-married crime-solving duo's professional partnership that was in danger.

Bones star: The finale "changes everything" for Booth and Brennan

While Booth (David Boreanaz) was preparing to be confirmed for his new FBI role in Germany by a Congressional subcommittee, he was contacted by a conspiracy blogger who claimed that he could connect the McNamaras — aka the family of the Ghost Killer — to someone in the FBI. I'm still processing that Castle cliff-hanger. Who ran Castle's car off the road? — Linda
Although there are a number of possibilities (3XK comes to mind, for example), it sounds like at least one person isn't involved: the recently arrested Sen. William Bracken. "I think that aspect of the mythology is closed now," creator Andrew W. Marlowe says. "Beckett knows who killed her mother. If there's further storytelling there, I think we're going to be breaking new ground." And for those fans miffed that we didn't get to see Castle and Beckett's wedding, look on the bright side: The show will have a fresh budget to work with in Season 7! "That's right," Marlowe says with a laugh. "We were running on fumes, financially, at the end of this year." When can we expect our diamond-encrusted invite?

Fox Boss Talks Revamping Idol, Glee's Final Season, New Year-Round Programming Strategy

American Idol

American Idol will look a little different when it returns for Season 14, according to Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly.

Acknowledging that Idol is not the ratings juggernaut that it was in its heyday (the performance show has routinely been topped by Survivor this season), Reilly said on a conference call Monday that the reality competition show will get a reduced order when it returns in 2015, going from 50-plus hours of programming to about 37.

Premise: A scientist with an 'uncanny ability to read clues left behind in a victim's bones' solves murders in a procedural series inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs. Scientist Brennan is often teamed with FBI Special Agent Booth, who mistrusts science and believes evidence should come from the living. The Brennan-Booth pair have drawn favorable comparisons to Scully and Mulder of 'The X-Files.'
