Vila tours houses he calls `expressions of the American spirit,' including such famous ones as Thomas Jefferson's Monticello and Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater in Pennsylvania. Other stops include the Morris-Jumel Mansion in upper Manhattan, where George Washington not only slept, but where he also once dined with three of his successors (Jefferson, John Adams and John Quincy Adams).
