Premise: The actors play second fiddle to a high-tech helicopter in this police drama set in L.A. and based on the hit 1983 movie, which made copters hot items on TV for a time. Indeed, CBS's 'Airwolf,' which debuted two weeks after this series, took off and ran for three seasons (and another on USA). But this vehicle crashed and burned after only 11 episodes.
