Several women admit to murdering a man they worked for, and Danny must pinpoint the real killer. Meanwhile, Frank and his priest clash over how to deal with a boy who's a thief; and Nicky and her friends are arrested after drugs are found in their car.
Erin's plagued with guilt after a cop is killed and the main suspect is a man she recently freed. Meanwhile, Danny and Baez try to figure out why a police officer has gone AWOL; and Frank and Mayor Poole continue playing games with Frank's reappointment.
Linda's coworker needs help dealing with her enraged ex, so Linda turns to Danny and Baez. Elsewhere, Erin's unsure what to do about her old mentor, whose recent judicial sentences have been unfair; and Frank confronts a displeased City Council speaker.
Jamie and Danny clash over how to deal with a brash rookie cop who is the son of Danny's pal. Meanwhile, Anthony gets tangled in a potentially bad investment thanks to his cousin, so Erin volunteers to do some digging into the situation.
Danny and Frank team up on a case involving an ex-con who was rehabilitated, but who is now involved in a murder. Elsewhere, Erin preps for a trial and discovers the alleged killer's location is being kept secret by the former prosecutor of the case.

A child-abuse case gets complicated for Danny and Baez because of an individual's diplomatic immunity, so Frank gets involved, even though he doesn't have jurisdiction. Elsewhere, Eddie and Jamie deal with a robbery while they're off duty.
A fearful witness flees before testifying in a murder trial, so Erin and Anthony try to track him down. Elsewhere, Garrett pressures Frank to go to the Police Union party; and Danny and Baez investigate a puzzling convenience-store robbery.
In the Season 6 finale, public outrage erupts when a cop isn't indicted for shooting a teenager, and the fallout affects Frank, the mayor and Erin's office. Later, an officer gets shot in a possible case of retaliation, so Danny searches for the shooter.
