Gumshoe spoof about a San Francisco private eye investigating a philandering tycoon. The quirky premise, however, failed to entice viewers and NBC closed it down after a month. Created by Jay Tarses (`Buffalo Bill,' `The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd'), and perhaps the network should have kept his original title, `Smoldering Lust.'
