Season 6 comes to a close with Andrew in the Florida Keys. Included: He goes hunting with a family for iguanas, which they then cook; he competes in a lionfish derby; and he learns how to roll a cigar and prepare Cuban cuisine from a master.
Andrew travels to Alaska's Copper River Basin in the sixth-season premiere, during which he meets a group of Native Americans who live the traditional life of the Ahtna tribe. While spending time with them, he experiences their everyday world of hunting, trapping and fishing. His trip also finds him trying moose and salmon oil, as well as spearing whitefish, shooting spruce chicken and digging up wild weeds known as tsaas.
