Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
10/9c Bravo
A constant dramatic thread going through Season 1 of this 90210-zipped sudsfest has been that Camille and Kyle have...lacked chemistry. These two Beverly Hills queens — one Kelsey Grammer's spouse, the other former child star Kim Richards' sister — have seemingly hissed, dissed and dished at one another from Minute 1. Tonight, Taylor throws a Roaring Twenties party, yet there might be some real roaring when the bash brings Camille and Kyle together for the first time since their last showdown. — Dean Maurer

Modern Family

Modern Family
9/8c ABC
No one can deny that Cameron has a theatrical side, and tonight he seeks to pass it on to Lily when a talent scout wants to put her in a commercial for a children's furniture store. Of course, the idea doesn't sit well with Mitchell, so it might be time for Cameron to come up with a stage name to protect her identity — and to keep Mitchell from finding out. Meanwhile, a faulty fire alarm at the Dunphys has Phil so worked up that it will probably detect the smoke coming out of his ears. — Joe Friedrich

Sunday Night Football

Sunday Night Football
8:15/7:15c NBC
The Redskins may be out of the NFC East battle royale and the playoff picture, but that doesn't mean they can't have an effect on both. True, they rolled over against the Giants last Monday, but five weeks ago Washington gave the Cowboys all they could handle in a 7-6 loss (in which Tony Romo tossed the winning TD with 2:41 left in the game). For Dallas, this game at Washington is sandwiched between last Saturday's crucial upset of the Saints and next weekend's highly anticipated finale with the Eagles.

America's Got Talent

America's Got Talent
8/7c NBC
A contortionist break-dancer. An opera singer. A tenor trio. A golden-girl comic. Power tap-dancing siblings. These ace entertainers are among the final 10 acts who took the stage in Monday's last-chance performance episode. So You Think You Can Dance

Big Brother 11
8/7 CT CBS
It doesn't matter who is on the chopping block tonight because one of the houseguests will secretly be given the power of coup d'etat, which allows him or her to replace one or both nominees for eviction right before the live vote. Viewer votes determine the coup d'etat winner and the person can use the newfound advantage tonight or next week. It may seem unfair to Russell, this week's Head of Household who made the nominations, but it's a great way to get fans involved and to shake up the game.

Like Pinki, the little girl of the film's title, you'll be grinning ear-to-ear — and shedding tears of joy — after seeing this 2008 Oscar-winning documentary short. Director Megan Mylan's heartwarming work chronicles efforts in India to encourage parents of children born with cleft lips to take them to a hospital for free corrective surgery. Considering everything is in repeats for holiday and/or strike reasons, now may be a good time to venture over to Bravo and delve into the ridiculously soapy lives of these obscenely wealthy women and their fams. Can you tell me what A&E is ...

Question: Can you tell me what A&E is turning into? Rollergirls? I just don't get it. I have enough problems trying to understand the programming on Spike. By the way, it would be nice if some of these cable networks would show some older movies. The constant repeats of the few movies they do show is getting old and tiresome, and these networks ought to have enough movies in their film libraries without having to air repeats so often. Also, welcome back. Answer: It's good to be back, even if that means confronting depressing topics like the decline of A&E. The network will crow about the younger demographics it now attracts since it has shifted focus from a broad-based arts-and-entertainment network to a bottom-feeding swill factory that perpetrated one of the worst shows of the decade in Growing Up Gotti (which, thankfully, is history). If it weren't for the fact that MI-5 is still in the wings, waiting to return in summer (last I heard), plus the occasional Biography special or ... read more
