Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul Ready for Odd Couple to Get Odder

Breaking Bad, Aaron Paul

Aaron Paul says he looks up to his Breaking Bad co-star, Bryan Cranston, and now he's found a perfect way to emulate him. Paul, who plays Jesse Pinkman, Walter White's partner-in-meth on the AMC drama, just earned his first Emmy nomination, for best supporting dramatic actor. Cranston received his second nod in the lead dramatic actor category, which he won last year. We talked to Paul about the future of the show, how close Jesse might get to Walt, and what it's like to play Scott, the anti-Jesse, on Big Love.

TVGuide.com: You really got to shine this season on Breaking Bad.
Aaron Paul: Thanks, man. Running around with Bryan Cranston is always fun and I wish I could work with some of the... read more

Big Love

Desperate Housewives
9 pm/ET ABC
Edie's worst fears are coming true tonight, and knowing that Nicolette Sheridan will soon leave the cast makes the Dave-Mike-Katherine camping trip all the more portentous. Back in Fairview, meanwhile, we'll see how Lynette's new job is going. Hope for the best, but certainly don't expect it. Also look for Bree to take a drastic step in dealing with Orson's kleptomania problem. And old friend Karl Mayer (Richard Burgi) pays another visit to Susan.

Kings

NCAA Basketball Championship Selection Show
6 pm/ET CBS
While some folks point to robins, daffodils and the Masters, it's hard to imagine a truer harbinger of spring than a fresh NCAA tourney pool on your desk when you arrive at work in the morning. March Madness perennials include some carping from the handful of teams who will have their bubbles burst when the 65-team field is announced and the annual debate concerning the team with the toughest route to the Final Four.

Raymond Cruz, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad
10 pm/ET AMC
The second-season opener simmers with an unsettling intensity and gripping, jaw-dropping drama. Having watched loco Tuco (Raymond Cruz) "beat a dude to death...for nothing," Walt and Jesse decide that however lucrative their business "arrangement" is with the psychotic pusher, they need to get out of it. Impetuous Jesse cooks up a half-baked plan of attack, but cooler-headed Walt concocts a more surefire way to take care of the bane of their existence. — Ray Stackhouse

Mega Buzz on 24, Heroes, SVU, Without a Trace and More

24, Heroes, Law & Order: SVU

Senior editors Matt Mitovich, Mickey O'Connor and Tim Molloy answer your questions. Speaking of questions, we invite you to drop us a line at mega_scoop@tvguide.com.

24 is totally back on track, but the one downside is Sean. I don't know whether it's the actor or the writing, but I do know I want that guy gone. Anything coming up that would make me a happy camper? — Mike
MATT: I suppose it would depend on whether Sean (aka he who has since been revealed as Moley McMoleberg) is truly traitorous or a red herring a la Season 6's Nadia. My own moles (none of whom are played by Rhys Coiro, mind you) tell me that Agent Hillinger's fate may be cinched during the game-changing back-to-back episodes airing March 2.

Please tell this Heroes fan that somehow Hiro or Peter will get the power to travel through time again so that they can go back and save Daphne. — Ashley
TIM: Good concept, but Heroes has promised us ... read more
