Big Brother Episode Recap: Double Eviction Season 14, Episode 19

It's time for the season's most action-packed night of competition: double eviction night! Although either Jenn or Boogie faces eviction when the night begins, they will soon be joined by another houseguest, who will actually make up the first member of the jury. So, which players were evicted? And did Boogie ever figure out who was really behind his nomination? Let's find out.

Post-veto ceremony, Boogie is furious with Dan, whom he still believes masterminded the implosion of the Silent Six and the turn against Frank and Boogie. To try to get answers, Boogie takes it out on Shane, calling him Dan's b---- and warning Ian to watch out for "the beast" of a player that Dan is. Dan, meanwhile, sits by in near-silence, hoping that Ian is taking note of all the heat Dan is taking on his behalf. Meanwhile, Dan's silence only fuels Boogie's rage.

Jenn, who is too silly to even realize that she is a pawn and not the target, also runs around the house badmouthing "idiot" Shane and campaigning for votes. I am not sure it's a strategy that will work for her, but fortunately for her, I don't think she really needs the plan to work. It seems pretty clear that the Quack Pack has the votes to get Boogie out of the house.

Before the live vote, Boogie basically makes an all-out plea for Joe to vote to keep Boogie in the house, noting that the week before, Boogie protected Joe. It seems clear that Boogie thinks he has secured enough votes that Joe could make all the difference. When the live voting begins and Ashley votes to evict Jenn, Boogie's plan seems clearer. He thinks he has Frank, Ashley and Ian, and Joe would be the deciding vote. However, what Boogie doesn't know is that Ian has flipped on him. Boogie also doesn't get Joe's vote and is therefore evicted by a 5-2 vote.

Boogie pieces together that Ian flipped on him and warns Frank that Ian is not to be trusted. Boogie seems super upset that Ian betrayed and lied to him....right up until the goodbye messages, in which Ian reveals the Quack Pack alliance and the fact that Ian masterminded Boogie's demise. Boogie literally takes his hat off to Ian and says he clearly learned from the best in the game. A pretty classy move from Boogie to realize he got outplayed. (However, he is a bit shocked at how terrible the name "Quack Pack" is.)

The head of household competition quizzes players to remember when certain events happened in the house. For each question host Julie Chen asks, players have to determine whether an event happened before or after another event Julie mentions. Ashley goes out in the first round, followed quickly by Joe, Jenn and Dan in the second round. Frank, after changing his answer at the last minute is eliminated in Round 3, and Britney falls out with an incorrect answer in Round 5. It ultimately comes down to a tie-breaker between Ian and Danielle, and Ian comes out on top as the new HOH.

Ian wastes no time nominating Frank and Ashley, the latter undoubtedly because she chose to vote with Frank and Boogie in the previous eviction vote. (Poor Ian had to nominate his showmance!) During the veto competition, which is basically a race to find two puzzle pieces in a giant ball pit, Frank emerges victorious, ensuring both his safety and that Shane, Ian or Dan will have a tough week ahead.

Once Frank removes himself from the block, Ian chooses Joe as the replacement nominee. Ashley pleads for votes, and, while noting that she isn't articulate, tries to sway people to ignore how she voted earlier. Joe, for the first time ever, is speechless. He mimes his speech, poking fun at the fact that he's such a loudmouth in the diary room. The votes come in and only Frank votes to save Ashley, which means she's evicted by a vote of 4-1.

Ashley compliments the Chenbot's side ponytail before explaining that she made a move this week in an attempt to prove she's not a floater. Ultimately, that move backfired and got her evicted. But, she will be a member of the jury, which hopefully means we'll have plenty more Ashley-isms through the summer.
