First, she took on Grey Gardens, and now The New Normal star Bebe Wood is coming for Honey Boo Boo.
The NBC comedy (Tuesdays at 9:30/8:30c) is planning an homage to Here Comes Honey Boo Boo for its Halloween episode.
"Shania loves that show so they decide to go en masse as that family," co-creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy told reporters on a conference call Tuesday.

The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo homage comes weeks after Wood delivered a spot-on Grey Gardens impression in the series' third episode. "The one thing that I've been absolutely shocked by is how many people have stopped me or written me about the Grey Gardens stuff we did," Murphy said. "Bebe is such an eccentric exotic child and she...

ABC's Charlie's Angels redux didn't work, and NBC's new take on Wonder Woman never even made it to air. But just like the feature film world — where everything from Footloose to Conan the Barbarian has been recently updated — TV execs continue to mine the vaults in search of more classic titles to reboot.

Dancing With The Stars
If you thought that dancing to iconic TV theme songs on Monday night's Dancing With the Stars would give the performers a leg up because they already knew the music, you'd be wrong.
In fact, most the Dancing pros — and at least one star — were either too young or living in a foreign country when American television hits such as Bewitched and Hill Street Blues were on the air. "I had no idea what that song was," says pro Cheryl Burke, who was born in 1984 and danced to Hill Street Blues, which aired from 1981-1987...

Extras - The Complete Second Season box art courtesy HBO Home Video
July 10th is a day many of you have been waiting for, not because there's a set you're dying to buy, but because it's a slow release day. That's right, July 10th is the slowest day you'll find for a very, very long time.Beauty and the Beast, one of the top shows on TVShowsOnDVD.com, has its second season released, and this time there are extras! Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman provide video introductions on select episodes. It doesn't sound like much, but at least it's something. We also see the third season release of Hustle, a BBC series about a group of con men (and woman). It's a great series, though the DVDs aren't as good as BBC's MI-5 (both shows are produced by Kudos). It's still one of my favorites, though the short seasons drive me crazy, but only because I like it so much.My "pick of the week" award goes to another British series, Extras from HBO Home Video. Ricky Gervais isn't quite as brilliant as he was in The Office, but the show is delightfully funny, and the DVD set c...
