Premise: A performance by Beyonce kicks off the sixth annual gala, which is hosted by Damon Wayans and honors actors, music artists and athletes. Calypso crooner Harry Belafonte receives the Humanitarian Award, while R&B songstress Chaka Khan is honored with a lifetime-achievement award. Other performers include Prince, Jamie Foxx, Busta Rhymes, Ne-Yo, Yung Joc and Mary Mary. From the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
