An ambitious Steven Bochco ensemble drama about a minor-league baseball team. It focused on the players and managers of the Bay City (California) Bluebirds, all of whom dreamed of making the big leagues even though only a few had any real chance. It was yanked after just four episodes, but the supporting cast showed great potential. It included Dennis Franz, Sharon Stone and Ken Olin.
